Property Accountant

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a Property Accountant for a four-month contract position in California. This role is essential in maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of property accounts, and it offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a leading team in the real estate sector.

Responsibilities:

• Handling reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Performing account clean-up to resolve any discrepancies and maintain financial order.
• Utilizing Yardi software for property accounting tasks and financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Yardi software is a must for managing property accounts and financial records.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in property accounting or a similar field is preferred.

Work Hours:

Standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for additional hours as needed to meet deadlines.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $33 - $45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
